WindEurope Copenhagen 2025

As the Turkish Wind Energy Association (TÜREB) Delegation, we successfully participated in the WindEurope Annual Event held in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, from April 7–10, 2025.

With a delegation of over 100 participants, including high-level public officials and private sector representatives, we departed for Copenhagen on April 7. Among our delegation were TEİAŞ Deputy General Manager Deniz Coşkun, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Ramazan Usta, Director General of Spatial Planning of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Yavuz Erdal Kayapınar, Director General of Nature Conservation and National Parks Kadir Çokçetin, Deputy Director General of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permit, and Inspection Ömer Albayrak, Deputy Director General of the Protection of Natural Assets Dr. Beykan Oktar, Director General of Crop Production at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Uğur Erdem, and Head of TEİAŞ Planning and Investment Management Department Serhat Metin, all of whom played a key role in strengthening our country’s high-level representation.

On the first day of our visit, we hosted a delightful dinner with the participation of Turkish Ambassador to Copenhagen Rıza Hakan Tekin and our delegation members, strengthening our communication and enjoying a pleasant evening.

On the second day, we took our place at the WindEurope Copenhagen 2025 event with the TÜREB stand, held various meetings, organized B2G sessions, and visited the stands of our members. Following the event, during our second evening dinner, we held a sectoral consultation meeting attended by Vice President of the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Zeynel Kılınç, Director General of Nature Conservation and National Parks Kadir Çokçetin, Director General of Spatial Planning Yavuz Erdal Kayapınar, Deputy Director General of Environmental Impact Assessment Ömer Albayrak, Director General of Crop Production Uğur Erdem, Head of the Directorate of Vocational Services at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Hüseyin Namık Sandıkçı, Deputy Director General of Energy Affairs Ramazan Usta, TEİAŞ Deputy General Manager Deniz Coşkun, and Deputy Director General of the Protection of Natural Assets Dr. Beykan Oktar. During the meeting, we addressed critically important topics for our sector such as the "Super Permit Law," permitting processes, the future of investments in Türkiye, current projects, and capacity increases.

As part of the WindEurope Copenhagen event, we also organized an offshore wind technical tour for our delegation. During this visit, we received technical briefings from experts who were involved in the establishment of the plant, gaining detailed insights into project management, technological infrastructure, and operational processes.
