Uğur Işık, who was born in Istanbul in 1985, graduated from ITU Mechanical Engineering Department in 2008 and completed the Executive MBA program at Koç University in 2018.
He started his professional career in Esman Makine in 2008 and has been working in the renewable energy sector since 2010. Between 2010 and 2011, he worked as a Business Development Coordinator at Free Breeze Wind Energy Systems based in Canada on the installation of Decommissioned wind turbines. Since 2011, he has held various positions in the development of wind and solar power plants at RES Anatolia Holding A.Ş, the Turkish subsidiary of RES Group. He has been working as the General Manager of the company since March 2021.
He is married and father of 2 children.
